My Journey and Success Post-Course in Singapore…
The knowledge and experience I gained from the class have proven to be surprisingly practical and applicable in the real world!
Initially, I was hesitant to apply what I learned at a hotel, fearing I might tarnish “Gary’s reputation.” So, I chose to work at a restaurant instead, viewing it as a space for personal training and self-development.I began searching for job openings, considering several factors, and ultimately decided on GF Capital. This is a large corporation with diverse businesses and numerous restaurant brands. The main factor that drew me to the interview was the restaurant’s location—it was a hub for professionals from all sectors, and I believed it would offer invaluable exposure and networking opportunities.
My performance soon exceeded all expectations. I began receiving the highest level of customer reviews, with some feedback even noting I was the only GF Capital Singapore employee to achieve such a rating. Moreover, customers developed such trust that they specifically requested me every time they dined at the restaurant, and I successfully built new connections with people from various companies.
Eventually, senior management and the President gave me a resounding “double thumbs-up.” They gave me three months’ advance notice before officially appointing me as a Service Leader. This new role came with added responsibilities, including Assistant Manager duties and serving as a Personal Consultant to Senior Management. The reasons cited for this promotion were my meticulous work ethic, exceptional standards of cleanliness, top-tier customer service, and, most importantly, my ability to effectively manage and negotiate with customers.”

I am Jakub, a graduate Butler of the TBBI class of Spring 2019 in London and would like to thank you tremendously for what you have taught me. I am proud to wear my gold badge close to my chest as my treasure. At first, I didn’t believe in the beginning of the class but yes you were right, my life changed in a good way. After completing the four week course, my partner and I, Rozeena, accepted a job as a Domestic Couple for a family of four in Saint Tropez. My husband and I just returned from another wonderful cruise (02-15-20). We had a Grand Loft Suite, cabin 10724. Our Royal Genie this time was Yen Lee. I must commend you for instituting this fantastic program. I can’t tell you how many hundreds of relatives, friends and strangers I’ve told about this outstanding program.
Last cruise our genie was amazing; but on this voyage Yen Lee was simply spectacular. Everyday she outdid herself; no matter how small or large the task; she showed compassion, dedication and a true love for what she does. She went above and beyond to make every moment memorable. Her personality, effort and work ethic are top grade. I truly believe you should consider her for the corporate office in recruiting and training of future genies. She is that good!
We are already planning our next cruise; and of course it will be with another “Royal Genie.”

I’m writing you to thank you again for your wonderful Venice seminar in 2018. To this day I still see and use most of the stuff you taught us there!
My career had some wonderful turn this past year, worked at the 6th best bar of the world and then the brand new Four Seasons in Athens! I’m working at In Room Dining there and I’m the butler for private dinners etc… Last summer there was a guest from Dallas that was amazed by my service and said that from now on she would have more expectations from her future Butlers. To me that was the best compliment. Turned out she liked the service SO much, she flew me in Colorado for her family Christmas vacations to be their butler!
I’ve gained so much experience and so many details from that trip that i would love to share! If by any chance I could be a useful asset to you in Greece please let me know! I would be more than happy for example to share my experience to some of your students in Greece as a guest to the seminars. I’d love to be the example that this seminar really helped provide good service, elevate my career and gave me memorable experiences! I think it would motivate them even more hear some words from someone that used to be in their position just 2 years ago!

I’m Apinya, one of your student from Thailand and currently working for Thai Airways. I’m writing this email to show my gratitude towards all of your knowledge I have from my both butler classes with you, in Bangkok and in London.
What you taught me is very useful and it changes my passenger’s experience. For me, it took months trying to adapt and adjust your world class standard of training to be in my own way. Especially how to deal with the difficult guests. The role plays and dialogues you trained us save my life so much. Also it gives “WOW” experience to my passengers as they told me that they heard it only in 5 stars hotels.And another great thing I learnt from the class which is “attention to the small details” works very well on board. Like you told me, it’s better to spend few minutes to take a look closely than spending hours or day to fix the problem. Also this works well to my personal life.
From the butler class I attended in London last September, it widen my eager of learning and leads to applying for the finishing school, which I’m sure it will improve my working skill or even the new job I might pursue in the future.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you sincerely for presenting an inspirational learning experience. I have discovered an incredible insight into the levels of service which raise ordinary service to extraordinary levels of excellence. My apologies for my disappearance in the past few months. I have been very busy with learning a new job.
I don’t know if you heard any news of me but, after my internship,in November, offered me by the British butler Institute, I succeeded in finding a position as butler at the Lanesborough in London.
The job has been very demanding till now but every single day I’m understanding how to become better and learning new skills as well.
For this, i have to thank you, the Institute, Stathis for the dedication at my case and the teaching that helped me to move forward.
I won’t stop looking how to become better to arrived at the idea of the butler that you set in our mind, during the days of the training.
