Position Overview
Our client, based in Dubai, is seeking to recruit two Junior Butlers to join a large and prestigious private residence. The Head Butler, previously placed by The British Butler Institute, is now expanding the household team and will oversee the recruitment and development of these roles.
The Junior Butlers will play a key supporting role in maintaining exceptional household standards and assisting with daily operations, guest service, and special projects within the residence.
Key Responsibilities
Household Support & Standards
- Assist with the upkeep of the residence to ensure consistently high standards.
- Support continuous improvement of household presentation and service delivery.
- Assist housekeeping teams as required.
Guest & Front of House Service
- Provide meet and greet services for guests and visitors.
- Deliver coffee, refreshments, and snack service.
- Support smooth guest experiences within the residence.
Valet & Personal Service
- Assist with packing and unpacking of luggage.
- Support valet duties and wardrobe management.
- Assist with general personal service requirements of the household.
Transport & Vehicle Care
- Clean and maintain household vehicles to a high standard.
- Ensure vehicles are presented clean and ready for use.
Errands & Logistics
- Run household errands including:
- Dry cleaning collection and delivery
- Shopping and provisioning
- Gift purchases and personal errands
Events & Projects
- Assist with the preparation and execution of special events.
- Support household projects and ad-hoc assignments as required.
Security & Household Awareness
- Assist in maintaining household security standards.
- Report any concerns or issues to senior staff.
Team Support
- Work closely with the Head Butler and wider household team.
- Provide flexible support wherever needed to ensure smooth operations.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Formal butler training from The British Butler Institute (mandatory requirement).
- Strong understanding of luxury household service standards.
- Good communication skills and professional presentation.
- Ability to work long hours and maintain flexibility.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and develop.
Desirable
- Previous experience in private households or luxury hospitality.
- Exposure to VIP or high-net-worth environments.
- Basic knowledge of valet, service, or housekeeping operations.
Package
- Salary: £35,000 per annum
